JVC GR-AX230U VHS-C Analog Camcorder, Bag & Accessories The camera itself powers in and appears to work- I connected the camera to the power supply and was able to look inside the camcorder to see that it powered on and the screen was blue. Battery Does Not charge. Unsure what the issue is. Perhaps it does need a new battery since the unit is from 1997. Please see photos.
