Drive Belt for Auto Play/Return Mechanism Technics SL-1600 MKII MK2 Turntable
The original belt that I removed was a square belt. See the compared belts in the pictures. I felt that this may be causing the problem. As soon as I slipped on one of these new round belts it was working like new.
