this 1956 Underwood universal has been lovingly cleaned and restored to working condition. You'll be surprised at just how speedy this machine types. As a typewriter repair hobbyist I can't claim to be a professional Typewriter repairman. However, I do feel comfortable describing my proficiency at journeyman level. I will only sell a machine that I would use personally. The platen for this machine was resurfaced less than 6 months ago and has years of life left in it.
