For being published 100 years ago, they are in really good condition. Very few small tears. Some of the binding of about half are sun faded. The pages are getting a little fragile, so they do need extra tenderness. This would be great for a growing library. This set includes Volume 1, 3-20. Volume 2 is missing from the set.
