I don't know much about these but found the typewriter is in surprisingly good condition. I have not oiled or cleaned this unit. All of the keys work properly, Press easily with a fingers touch and snap back to the original position, with the exception of the X key - which works fine but sticks a bit and has to be pulled back down.
