verified powers up and all buttons function properly , due to the tape inside looking damaged it was untested . volume button turns up and down and can hear feed back but doesn't look like the tape is spinning the internal tape looks damaged . this is a storage unit find and have not actually tested it but I did put batteries in it and it turns of and makes the noise like noise feedback. selling as is read the description please before purchasing as I do not offer refunds on products I resell from storage units everything is as is .
