Everything seems to light up when plugged in . See photos . I took some pictures with the back side lit up. My father was a WWII navy radio operator aboard ship for 8 years. He used this set at home as a hobby as I grew up. It has been unused for 16 years. I could ship or do a pick up in Cortland , Ohio. Original operating manual is included with the receiver.
