Check out the rudder picture shown above. The letters labeled "A" show the weak points in the plastic rudder. If these points break your trolling rig is lost for ever! Now look at the lower rudder which is my "Strong Rudder" the surflon wire is woven thru the length of the rudder (arrow labeled "B").
