Olympia Elite portable typewriter. Serial number 58026, made in 1935. A fairly uncommon Olympia typewriter especially having a qwerty keyboard. It also has the special keys for the German language. This machine is in working condition and a testament to the quality workmanship one expects from Olympia. Decals are faded but readable. German keyboard accents and diacritcal marks are on the right side of the keypad.Platen is hard but takes paper easily.New ribbon installed and metal spools.It is likely the keyboard was switched from qwertz to qwerty .Most examples of this machine are in Europe in countries that no longer ship here Ask question if you have any.
