The cassette deck A/C connector works only with the components seen in the pictures. (SEE PICTURE SHOWING THE POWER CORD AND THE SOCKET ON REAR OF AMPLIFIER!) The cassette deck powers up, Drive number 1 runs when PLAY is pressed, but there is no signal/sound. Drive number 2 is dead. Otherwise all controls function.
