While my parents were in Tokyo Japan when my dad was in the service in the late 1940s- 50s, they acquired this 3 string Instrument. It is 22" in length. Its shown just as it was when my mother brought it back on the ship. She and Dad married in Tokyo in 1951. All Wooden with the Beautiful Japanese Floral Fabric and Ties. Strings as well as entire Piece is Original.
