I tested both the VHS and the DVD functions on this combo player. The DVD player worked flawlessly. The VCR side has a minor glitch where it will not accept a VHS tape from being pushed in by-hand. However, it will pull in and play a VHS tape if you press the stop/eject button. Also, I found that when the tape is ejected, you have to pull the tape out right away otherwise it will pull it back in. This behavior is due to an LED on the motherboard not working. This LED is supposed to tell the VCR when it senses a tape. Luckily there is a workaround of pressing the stop/eject button instead. This listing includes the DVD/VCR Combo Player and a Red/Yellow/White RCA Cable. It does not include a remote control.
