This charismatic baluster shaped soft paste porcelain drug jar was made by the Chantilly manufactory of Chantilly in Oise, France c. 1750. It is hand painted in the Japanese Kakiemon palette. The reverse side features a Kakiemon inspired floral sprig including a chrysanthemum.
