The tip of the antenna is broken off, but it still extends it has 2 or 3 sections left, but at my house, you dont even need to extend it to get reception CD player works great. The CD door is manual its kinda wierd that it will play CDs with the door open, but that's how these are It will ship with the power cord in the battery compartment
