It is made of a flexible reinforced rubber that can handle high temperature water. It has a 7/8 inch ID (internal diameter), and 1-1/8 inch OD (outer diameter). Be sure to confirm the size of your connectors on your dishwasher and sink drain line to determine if the 7/8 inch ID hose will fit properly. Common connector sizes are 5/8, 7/8 and 1 inch. This hose has a 7/8 ID. It will not fit the 5/8 or 1 inch connectors. The kit also comes with 2 clamps to secure the hose to your connectors on the dishwasher and drain line.
