I have attempted to polish/clean this using Brasso and I made it look a little brighter but it does need a good polish. The tongs, shovel, brush and poker which is all made of sold brass. The top of the handle and stand holder, have a hook and a leaf design pattern, the handle and the holders of the tongs, brush, shovel and poker is also sold brass.
