This is a Smith Corona Silent #5C397324 which puts this as a 1958. See the video and pictures for a typing demonstration and the condition of the machine. Smith Coronas, and the 5 series specifically are known for their ruggedness and dependability. This one has some scars on her from over the years. There is some residue from some id stickers on the lid. I was able to remove most of it, but it's still barely visible. She does type well. As an added bonus, it's the holiday case, rather than the fabric lined cases. Holiday cases are the best :) The machine comes with a new ribbon and is ready to go.
