This is a Royal Quiet De Luxe serial #1543592 which puts this as a 1948 model. I've always liked these machines with their chrome accents and glass-top tombstone keys. The owner took care of this machine, as evidenced by the typewriter cover. As an added bonus, the Royal pamphlet is also included :) Pretty cool.
