Kind of shifts but it is rough. Lever action feels sticky and shifting is rough and inconsistent as indicated on the handwritten bag label, so it should be serviced or used for internal parts only. Silver alloy lever blade, inner shift paddle, top cap, and clamp hardware show scratches, oxidation, and finish wear from prior riding and storage.
