This early Sony BluRay player is in good working condition. The front panel raises and lowers and the tray opens and closes as it should. I tested it with several different blurays, dvds, and cds. It works, but there were a few dvds that it wouldn't read. I'm not sure why certain dvds wouldn't work while others do, but just wanted to make sure that's known in the listing. I think one of the coolest features of this player are the analog video outputs and individual surround outputs, making this one of the few BluRay players that allow you to play them on non-HDMI TVs. Includes remote.
