Magnet folds down for storage. Cutting handle is removable for cleaning. To use plug into outlet, put on a flat surface like countertop. Flip magnet to horizontal position. To remove cutter handle, tilt machine forward lift handleup and it will slide out, or lift handle up and grasp, pulling straight towards you.
