New tubes, capacitors less than 2 years old. Powers on. Can receive a few local stations on the broadcast band but absolutely no reception on shortwave bands, day or night, and regardless the season. A small amount of rust and cosmetic damage. All switches, controls and dials work but the dial will need alignment. I finally gave up trying to repair myself and took it to a shop. They told me it needs new coils but due to age those parts are not available. SO if you have a secret source for coils or know how to fabricate themselves, this radio orphan would love to be adopted! Open to offers but please note I’ve invested almost $300 trying to bring this puppy back to life so please no low balling.
