This Panasonic SL-PJ316 MASH CD player works, plays CDs, and the display functions properly. I had no trouble loading CDs and playing them. Just be aware, since this is a vintage CD player, there's always a chance of running into a few skips. I only experienced a couple when I tested it, but it wasn't on every disc. There are numerous scratches and other cosmetic flaws on this unit, so please examine the pictures carefully before purchasing.
