Here I have a vintage working sharp WQ-T282 twin cassette boombox from the 80s the radio on it works great the antenna needs tightened it does not stay up the cassette decks on it deck 2 works great with sound from the tape head and deck 1 goes does not rewind or fast forword both decks run on the same belt it’s currently using the original belt it plays but has no sound I think it needs a new tape head on deck one thanks for looking this sharp boombox is pretty cool I tried to fix it. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. I replaced the belt on it so it can play if the problem can be fixed on deck 1 it plays great on deck 2. It has a speaker rot problem to all this foam around the speakers disintegrated because it’s old. Hope someone can fix it.
