I have tested it. I have watched some tapes on playback through the TV with it but I have not tried to record anything with it as I do not have any tapes to record with. The battery doesn’t seem to hold a charge as best I can tell. There is a little spot that has been repaired by the hand strap as seen in the pictures. But it is used so keep that in mind. Comes with everything shown in the pictures.
