Panasonic RS261 US Stereo Cassette Tape Deck WORKS
I am not sure if it is a residue from a sort of tape. or if a caustic solvent dripped on the lenses damaging the plastic. All functions work. I find it particularly cool that it has a stereo/mono switch in the back.
