Axinite all natural mine rough crystal,named for the axe like crystal formation of this mineral.This pyroelectric and piezoelectric crystal material is clear to rusty red with some violet and yellowish in coloration with a 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 mohs hardness.Each 75 carat lot (1/2 ounce,15 grams) will be scooped from material as pictured and is generally sized at approximately 5-25 MM in length and 5 to 15 mm wide and deep,this material comes from Tanzania,Africa and is quite rare .Pictures were taken dry with backlight so color could be seen better.Lots will be randomly scooped from crystal material as pictured and the number of crystals will vary depending on the size of individual crystals but most lots will generally have 3 to 20 crystal pieces.
