This printer has been tested on a USB connection and works fine. It comes with it's power adapter, USB cable, and a spool with some remaining DK1202 labels on it. It requires set up using software that can be downloaded from brother support. This needs to be followed carefully for a good set up. Once installed there are several applications that can use the label printer and the different label sizes available on spools. It is a thermal printer and does not require ink. It is a very versatile little printer!
