Hammered copper fire fender. Construction appears to be hand-hammered copper sheet over a solid timber core. There’s an embossed-type design on the front edge that’s a bit different to the hammered pattern. Condition as shown in the photos, good copper colour and patina. Marks consistent with prior use.
