Just plug in and go to work. Top disc tray is for source DVD. Bottom is for blank. Constant beeping while disks are inside after duplication means the process was not successful. Disks ejecting after process means they have transferred with no errors. This was the machine I used to make while I did DVDs. I am now upgrading to flash drives, so it's no longer needed. Bought it for nearly $200, selling it for far less.
