He is widely considered by theatre historians to be the first dramaturg. C.F. Voss, Berlin, 1753. First editions of the writings that the then only 24-year-old Lessing himself published. He selected the best of his previous poetic and scientific works and left the edition to his friend C.F. Voss in Berlin.
