I think its brand new and never used but not sure. If it was used it wasn't very much. I turned it on and did a couple of the functions as seen in the pictures. Im not sure what the black dot is all about. I dont know much about cameras whatsoever. It does have that small rub mark as seen in the one picture. Nothing bad. The box has been opened.
