A great book from 1838, Guy’s Hospital Report has engrossing case histories and superb illustrations. 476 pages, light tone, darker at the margins. Text block top is soiled. Ex medical library copy. A couple of stamps…text block bottom, inside front cover, another in the text…doesn’t cover text or image. No marks, no missing pages. Good binding. Exterior…corner scrapes, shelf wear, exterior hinges split with strings holding well. Paper joint repair a couple of pages in looks secure. The illustrations are numerous and in b/w and there’s a couple of color ones….Printed on a good quality paper that’s heavier than the text pages. Illustrations are folded neatly and are very clean. Overall condition is good-good+ a bit better in page condition.
