This EVGA RTX 3080 Hydro Copper has been installed in my system for approximately three years and received regular annual maintenance. Recently, the card began shutting off under gaming load. I disassembled the GPU, thoroughly cleaned it, and reapplied fresh thermal paste. The original thermal pads were not replaced and, after extensive testing, I believe worn thermal pads are the likely cause of the issue. The water block and fins have been fully cleaned, and coolant flow is unobstructed. The card powers on but will shut down under load. Sold as-is for repair or parts.
