Nakamichi IA-2 is a limited edition pre-main amplifier with only 300 units produced. Nakamichi's unique Harmonic Time Alignment amplifier circuit is used in the preamplifier and power amplifier sections. This circuit focuses on the phase shift between the music signal and its harmonic distortion, which is a problem with NFB that is widely used to improve amplifier characteristics. A multi-regulated power supply and isolated ground system are used to prevent power interference and noise from entering the signal system. The line amplifier section employs a fully discrete configuration. The sound quality is extremely sharp, and the sense of scale is unique to Nakamichi. It should drive even the most difficult-to-drive speakers more clearly.
