Small hardcover….8.25” x 5.25”, in fair condition. 923 pages, lightly toned, unmarked except for a few light pencil check marks. There’s scattered spotting. Binding is good. Exterior has shelf wear to the boards. Spine cover is very nice with embossed designs. Due to the binding style, the book may have been rebound at a date later than 1853. Late 19th. century possibly. A European text, it was quickly translated and published in English in 1853. It is actually two separate works bound as one and has a tremendous amount of content.
