Late 80s, maybe early 90s. Currently have RCA PLUGS on the back. making them compatible with lots of older 1950s, 1960s, 1970s stuff and lessor amounts of 80s. OR you could cut off the plugs and turn them into raw-wire speakers and they'd be compatible with lots of newer stuff.
