The quick recapturing of breath on each beat creates a bouncing, swinging rhythm. It is used in traditional and folk music of Punjab. The greatest exponents of Alghoza, however, are the Sindhi musicians (Late) Ustad Khamiso Khan, (Late) Ustad Misri Khan Jamali and Akbar Khamiso Khan (Khamiso Khan's son).
