Vinyl and inner sleeve are removed from the cover to prevent seam splits, unless the LP is still sealed. NM (Near Mint) is the highest grade that I use for opened records. For lower grades (EX, VG+, VG, and G), I will also describe what disqualifies the record from being NM.
