This is a beautiful albeit dusty art deco typewriter from the 1940s. Minimal effort needed to restore this to a much nicer looking machine. Look at the pictures. The chrome is in great condition. The keys type well, the space bar and back space work great and the spring works too pulling the carriage back. It is dirty and worn, but should clean up nice. Ink spools are needed, but otherwise this machine is ready for whatever purpose you have in mind. As a display this vintage machine will add to the ambiance of any room. If you want to write that perfect poem or story, just give it a cleaning and oiling. As far as 80 years old typewriters go, this one appears well maintained.
