Built this bass last year out of parts. It's got a Mexican body from '99, and brand new Fender Mexico roasted maple neck, Seymour Duncan pickups, 920D electronics, and Hipshot tuners. One thing to note is that the body does have some minor blemishes on both the front and back, and there is a small section on the front where the paint has come off. I had it professionally set up after I built it. It plays beautifully, and the sound really has some bite to it. Sad to see it go, but I have another Jazz Bass and don't have a reason to keep both.
