The unit was removed from its original box and was tested via the power supply. The unit powers on and it opens the cassette lid. Please be aware I do NOT own a DAT cassette so I was unable to test that feature. Also please be aware the included battery is over 30 years old so most likely it will NOT hold a charge so you will need a new battery to use this unit or you will have to use it with the included power supply. Due to the fact that do not own a DAT cassette and am unable to test this unit, it will be sold AS IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIR AS UNTESTED CONDITION WITH NO RETURNS.
