This was my late mother's sewing machine. It comes with foot pedal and powers on, but sounds like motor is struggling to move needle up and down. I don't want to risk damaging machine, but suspect this is an easy fix for anyone who knows what they are doing (it's been 50 years since I took Home Economics class).
