The JVC HR-VP627U is a 4-head hi-fi stereo VHS video cassette recorder with Super-VHS Quasi Playback (SQPB). It was manufactured around 1999. It does not record in the higher-resolution Super-VHS format but can play back tapes recorded in that format.
