Estate sale find. Seems like it was well taken care of through the years, but all the keys are all stuck/froze as Im convinced it just needs a deep, thorough cleaning as most of these do…I just don’t have the time to dedicate to the deep cleaning that this unit needs, once cleaned I think it’ll be a great typewriter! Ribbon will also need replaced due to age. This was stored for a long time in it’s case possibly in an attic and as we know, Smith Corona used some kind of solution that Made these keys stick. The tweed case is neat! It has a little bit of road rash as seen in the pictures… but still solid and does the job! Selling the typewriter as is, as described, as seen in the numerous pictures…. a great project for someone to have a Smith Corona green key silent super!
