Myaamia and Peoria are two dialects of an Algonquian language originally spoken in the upper Midwest, primarily in what is now Indiana and Illinois. This language was originally spoken by several tribes, the main ones being the Myaamia, Peoria, Wea, Kashaskia, and Piankashaw.
