When installing a new LG PTAC unit, a wall sleeve is required. The AYFDSV insulated wall sleeve protects your PTAC unit as well as helps the wall bear the weight of the unit. The LG wall sleeve is lined with 1/4" of acoustic and thermal insulation to reduce noise and help maintain a stable temperature.
