This rug yarn is made from Scottish Blackface fleece spun around a cotton core. Since Scottish Blackface sheep are a dual-coated fleece, they have both hair and a softer undercoat. I added so much twist to ensure a hard-wearing yarn that it is possible you will find it is a bit over-twisted as you go to use it - if so, just let it unwind slightly as you go.
