Original, fully-licensed 2-disc VCD release of the 2004 Hong Kong comedy film, DRIVING MISS WEALTHY, which starred Lau Ching-Wan, Gigi Leung, Hui Siu-Hung, Tats Lau and May Law. The film was directed by James Yuen. This VCD is from the official Hong Kong release of the film ... produced by Panorama Entertainment. I believe that this was part of a special issue of the film, which featured various neon-colored jewel cases, plus different slipcovers -- each with a close-up portrait of a different cast member. This one has a portrait of Gigi Leung. VCDs are Video Compact Disc -- an alternate video format to DVD -- which is widely used in a number of Asian countries. The discs used are produced on CDs, rather than DVDs, so far less information can be held on a single disc. This results in two main differences between VCDs and DVDs.
