Whiting Bowl 858A Japonesque Bamboo Crab American Sterling Silver Mixed Metal
Made by Whiting Mfg. Co. in New York, ca 1885. Rectangular with straight sides; bamboo-stalk rim and corner supports. On sides, applied and engraved leafing bamboo branches. Also applied are two crabs with pincers hooked over the rim.
